These groups seem to be fighting system abuse on various fronts, including legally and through education campaigns.  See Two Horns, Racketeering, Making the Other Guy Look Bad, Invisible Fingers etc. for optional ways of keeping an objective viewpoint about groups like this in case things are not as they seem.  Although it might be unlikely, invisible fingers could tweak problems first with clean-up crews following up by  making money off legal fees.  In other words, mafia types of operations could be making sure they have fingers in the pie both for and against.  There could also be an international terrorist component trying to both disturb the flow of American operations (like police and prison systems) by having abuses in them,  and then bankrupt the United States from resulting huge lawsuit costs against government. Geller on the American Media Excerpts From 2017 book Fatwa: Hunted in America by Pamela Geller Pamela Geller indicates several false plays from a large number/wide array of media groups.  Numerous mentions of problems with the media; she indicates many times she has been interviewed by various media groups only to find her story was not mentioned in the articles that were actually published.  Several indications that certain Islamic groups get more coverage and sympathy from the media.  Indications of omission. Here are the news groups or other forms of media she mentions in the book Fatwa: Click the links to see more details of that topic below Facebook, Twitter, Youtube/AFDI-Geller Lawsuit 2016  sued Facebook in July 2016.  pp. 200-207 in the Chapter Freedom of Speech in the Age of Jihad Garland, Texas Rally/Contest: Media Coverage of her January 2015 Garland, Texas Muhammed contest rally versus the Stand With the Prophet rally in the same city a short time earlier. (p. 159) pp. 33-34 The Orlando Sentinel, along with Meredith Heagney of the Columbus Dispatch, Michael Kruse of the St. Petersburg Times, among others, consistently filed anti-Rifqa stories, actively attacking Rifqa and working hard to smear and discredit her - in submission to Hamas-CAIR and sharia….In July 2014 the Orlando Sentinel did a story on Rifqa…Sentinel’s Rene Stutzman reported her whereabouts, making her an easy target for devout Muslims in a town that covered up the honor killing of another Muslim woman, Fatima Abdullah. Stutzman…spun the story this way:  Mohamed Bary is a doted Muslim father, intent on giving his daughter the best education he can.  But he says he made a terrible mistake last October: He bought her a laptop computer.”  Of Mohamed Bary’s death threat to this daughter, Stutzman wrote: “Mohamed Bary said, “I still cannot believe she would think that.”  Much less known…is the campaign of intimidation that Omar Tarazi, her parents’ Islamic supremacist lawyer, continued to wage after her case was over…” p. 202 CNBC  (UN luncheon Sept. 2015 with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg) p. 209 Baltimore Gazette, National Report fake news sites - were dropping hoaxes for months to discredit conservatives who might pick up the story. she reported a number of fake conservative news sites created by left wing operatives in order to discredit the conservatives. New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Boston Globe, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, CNN:   They got it wrong all the time.  Every article written about my colleagues, my work, or myself was fake.  Most of what they wrote and didn’t write about the Orlando mass slaughter at the gay nightclub was disinformation and deception. p. 226 MSNBC, The Guardian, Salon all ran pages blaming the right wing for those November 2015 Paris attacks. p. 215 CNN ambushes Geller: from MSNBC and ABS to CBS and CNN and Fox - she indicates leftist, anti-Trump. determined to whitewash and deny the connection between Islam and terrorism.  CNN reporter Money - Simon Ostrovsky, who seemed to be in on a trick.  “But Ostrovsky lied in his emails to me.” References giving support to Geller’s various conclusions: p. 203 CAMERA Nitsana Darshan-Leitner of Shurat Hadin p. 204 on a test of Facebook’s favoritism over Muslims vs. Jews p. 210 Tablet - Google fake news algorithms, revealed in July 2017 they are skewed to be anti-Semitic and pro-jihad. Garland, Texas Rally/Contest:   (both earlier Stand With the Prophet and Muhamad Contest Rallies) Page 176: Regarding a Stand With the Prophet even by Muslims in Garland, Texas shortly before her Muhammad contest: The media coverage of our rally was vicious, ugly and dishonest.  It was extraordinary in the wake of the Paris jihad attack, where journalists were mercilessly slaughtered in cold blood, that journalists were covering and advancing the most extreme and brutal ideology on earth…”  “They called it a peace conference…”  WFAA, a news group, was complicit, showing limited photos of smiling hijab wearilng women and making it seem the Muslims were victims of threats and protest while only seeking peace. pp. 181-183 Problems with media and Garland attack (see chapter on Garland, Texas ISIS Attacks the Homeland/The FBI and the Garland Jihad Attack, pp 181-183, also listed in Islamic Extremism and FBI Some media she mentions in terms of the Garland Attack:  CBS’s 60 minutes (March 2017), Justice Dept. press release, The Daily Beast, eventually in July 2017 even the Garland police refused to release documents on the FBI agent who colluded with the Garland jihadis. FACEBOOK - PROBLEMS WITH Facebook/Geller-AFDI/Lawsuit p. 210 Facebook should be broken up like Ma Bell was.  Facebook doesn’t decide what’s good and what’s forbidden.  Left-wing fascists do not and must not decide what news people can and cannot see.  But that was exactly what we were seeing on Facebook.  Facebook, where I had a million followers, made sharing my posts almost impossible. pp 200-223: p. 223 I have been covering leftist and Islamic protests for years, and they are rife with hate and violence that never get reported in the mainstream media.  There is a systematic, organized movement to overthrow American freedoms and install an enemy regime.  At every pro-America, pro-Trump, anti-sharia, counter-terrorism protest, leftists show up full of bloodlust and primed for battle… [to] agitate, incite, and attack our people whenever we peacefully assemble.  And their stages in the media, like clockwork, then report what happened as follows:  “Violence breaks out at a far-right rally…” “Far right” is the media’s term for anyone who doesn’t submit to these goosestepping, jackbooted thugs.” p. 205 Facebook was increasingly doing the bidding of vicious Muslim thugs and supremacists…One group of Arab ex- Muslims, after having their material repeatedly deleted by Facebook, prepared a petition at Change.org asking Facebook to stop deleting Arab Atheist and secularist groups. p. 201 Notoriously one-sided, those who oppose jihad terror, support Israel, and stand against the most brutal ideology..on earth… are systematically blocked and banned. p. 201 In June 2016 (the year preceding the publication of her book Fatwa), Facebook took down my page and blocked me after a devout Muslim opened fire on a gay nightclub in Orlando…Facebook said they took down the page because of their rule against “hateful, obscene, or threatening” content. p. 200 The…AFLC filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of AFDI in the US District Court of Columbia, challenging Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (CDA) under the First Amendment.  In a press release, the AFLC explained that Section 230 provides immunity from lawsuits to Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, thereby permitting these social media giants to engage in government sanctioned censorship and discriminatory business practices free from legal challenge.  The AFLC (American Freedom Law Center) explained that we were “often subject to censorship and discrimination by Facebook, Twitter and YouTube” because of our beliefs and views, “which Facebook, Twitter and Youtube consider expression that is offensive to Muslims.  Such discrimination, which is largely religion-based in that these California businesses are favoring adherents of Islam over thos who are not, is prohibited in many states, but particularly in California by the state’s anti-discrimination law, which is broadly construed to prohibit all forms of discrimination.  However, because of the immunity granted by the federal government, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are free to engage in their otherwise unlawful, discriminatory practices. For years, every day I received emails from readers and members of my various Facebook groups, asking for help after having been blocked for posting a story or comment that might offend Muslims.  This is America, not Saudi Arabia.  Enough.  In July 2016, I filed suit. GOOGLE SEARCH - PROBLEMS WITH p. 210 In late 2017, my website, the Geller Report (previously Atlas Shrugs) all but disappeared from Google Search.  Forty thousand posts and articles, fourteen years of hard work….the article didn’t explain how Google decided what results were “reputable” and which were “hate groups” but it comes under pressure from Muslim leaders, and was bowing to their demands.  Sharia blasphemy laws were being implemented by Google…. YOUTUBE - PROBLEMS WITH p.210 In late July and early August 2017 many of my videos were removed from YouTube…which was purging  videos en masse  under the guise of “hate speech” or “controversial religious or supremacist content.”  They claimed it was to counter terrorism, when in fact it was to silence those who dissented. The other side of the Youtube story… The same week that YouTube was banning my videos, news came out that a group of British jihadis were preaching bloodsed and murder and recruiting for jihad in videos that You Tube left up for over a year. PAYPAL - PROBLEMS WITH p. 212 Paypal bans Geller - August 2017 The Heritage on Voice of America 2020/08/07  “The Voice of America’s One-Sided Coverage of Black Lives Matter Protests”  Helle C. Dale https://www.heritage.org/progressivism/commentary/the-voice-americas-one-sided-coverage-black-lives-matter-protests Excerpt:  The Voice of America, the U.S. Agency for Global Media’s flagship operation, is putting its own spin on coverage of the Black Lives Matter riots in the United States.  It’s a spin consistent with much of the rest of the mainstream media—the CNNs of the world—and hardly represents an accurate image of what is going on in America today.  An Aug. 1 Associated Press story run by the VOA about events in Portland, Oregon, described the nature of the protests, which it said have now become so peaceful that federal forces could be withdrawn: “Portland Protest Strives for Peace as U.S. Forces Drawn Down.”   In fact, the presence of federal agents comes across as provoking violence, and their removal as the way to calm the waters. The demonstrations sound positive, even idyllic.  Despite the fact that the feds were actually invited in to stop explosive violence raging out of control in Portland, with the widespread destruction of property and lives as a consequence, there was no mention of this constructive role in the story: A group identified as ‘Firefighters for Black Lives Matter’ gathered in a small park a couple miles west of the courthouse. Another group, ‘Unemployed Workers for Black Lives,’ began to march towards the federal building around 8 p.m. People stood next to a makeshift memorial, with the pictures and names of Black people killed by police, at the Waterfront Park. A parade of cars with Black Lives Matter signs taped to their windows slowed traffic in the city.   Just after midnight, the crowd had grown to over 1,000 people who remained outside chanting “Black Lives Matter” and shouting the names of Black people killed by police. Groups were also standing together engaging in conversations about social injustice. The AP story is fairly typical of the coverage of race relations and Black Lives Matter at the Voice of America. https://www.heritage.org/progressivism/commentary/the-voice-americas-one-sided-coverage-black-lives-matter-protests Updates: 2020/08/27 The Heritage on Voice of America added; 2020/05/01 Geller/Rifqa Bary/Orlando Sentinel etc added;  2020/04/29 SPLC-The Problem With-added; cont. additions to Geller section; 2020/04/28 media page 2 started; material added on Geller w/emphasis on Youtube/Facebook/Twitter lawsuit and problems with media;  2020/04/23 more added to Geller on American media; 2020/04/22 Geller’s book Fatwa added showing her problems with the media;  2020/02/24 Islam The Problem w/Al Jazeera added; China section on censorship and US media involvement added; 2020/02/21copied to Police Factor from River Gold; 10/15/2018-Huffington Post added and S.
