Jan 16-27, 2024 STUDY GROUP ON BORDERS MORE DETAILS Maps We will be going over maps in the study group: Oregon Sanctuary Cities/Counties and beyond; border counties, cities and towns along borders, including those in Arizona, California and Texas, with more time spent on Texas and San Diego County; Mexican and Latin American countries. We will also review blue counties along the border, usually Hispanic and Latino Democrat controlled areas. Blue border area and state political, legislative and attorney general leaders. Problem Leaders - Blue Districts This will include identifying the immigrant-friendly, loose border-adhering political leaders in the border states as well as in other states. That is, we will identify leadership involved in border issues in terms of proximity to the border, political orientation on borders and their key activities one way or the other on the border. We will note the types of language they use and legislation they support or obstruct when favoring loose borders and immigration. Groups Cooperating with Excessive Illegal Immigration into the United States We will note the use of social services, religious and legal groups and even the United Nations to aid and abet foreign trespassers getting into the United States. Being in Oregon, we will study our leaders here and their stances on borders and illegal immigrants and why, despite the best efforts of some of them to fight the border-related problems, Oregon has succumbed to becoming an overall immigrant sanctuary state with numerous counties and cities formally indicating their sanctuary position. Where I am coming from Americans First: Jobs, Education, Medicine and Health Insurance, Services, Benefits, Voting, Driver's Licenses, Litigation, Speak-Outs With that being said about keeping things fairly objective in the study group, I will reveal my reasoning and approach in general here. We will focus on knowing the in's and out's of border protection and stopping illegal immigration, and focusing first on taking back to the American fold San Diego County, California; the entire state of New Mexico; removing all of the recent illegal immigrant arrivals in Arizona; stopping the sanctuary areas in Oregon, and helping Texas in its Lone Star and related efforts. Even Kiel stay on even kiel and on topic, not political activist polemics I indicated earlier up above that the study group is to be "fairly objective" because there is a belief structure behind it: that insufficiently protected borders and excessive illegal immigration is bad and that currently we have a border crisis. We will however cover how certain alternative views and approaches have gotten us into this mess starting with Todd Bensman's input on the subject. Beyond that belief structure on borders, I would like to promote the idea that education will take us further and help us to be more effective fighting national security and local safety problems related to border problems and other national security and local safety problems. Core Theme The core theme reflects primarily non-violent strategies and education, with violence thelast resort Promoted here is the notion that wanton violence does not solve life's problems and thus promote public messages and activities that indicate and demonstrate we mean business because we know our business. I encourage fellow Americans to take down gun bumper stickers and replace them with messages indicating brains first, brawn second. That is, the idea is to demonstrate Americans are constantly educating themselves to grow in awareness and readiness to threats to their country and way of life. 2nd Amendment Upheld but Fleshed Out This does not ignore the 2nd Amendment or Americans rights to carry arms, but charges the battery with the right kind of energy that will take us further and be more effective in the long run. I believe that regardless of our outer form, no matter what we look like or our gender, we need thinkers and doers. Many of our best qualified persons have dropped off the American platform through war, police attacks, cartel infiltrations, quittings or other forms of attrition, so we need to fill the void with American thinkers prepared to think deeply and fluidly across the board. The border and immigration issues are complex and multifaceted. There are many different interconnected parts to the subjects. A House Divided Two Oppositional Groups in Congress and White House Legislation often responds effectively to the problems but is blocked by the president and his cronies. In addition, in order to get a good bill through, border protection supporting legislators are often being pressured to accept other kinds of bills they would not normally accept. That is, there is a pernicious and tenacious divide in our Congress and White House keeping us from moving forward on border protection and stopping vastly excessive numbers of foreign trespassers from entering our country. We thus have two main groups vying for power. In addition, we are seeing paperwork given to foreign trespassers that gives them permission to be here which many Americans have not authorized and do not want given out to foreigners because too many have gotten in. These papers operate like rubber-stamped phony college degrees from paper mills. These fake documents acting like official American paperwork are put out by American departments and agencies infiltrated by groups supportive of illegal immigrants. We will study which departments are putting out American visas and citizenship papers that are best considered false documents. See Todd Bensman’s book Overrun on this. As part of that divide in politics listed above, people are polarizing over race and sexuality. The argument here is the conservatives are right: it is like a Marxist revolt and takeover operation spurred and promoted by China, Radical Islamic groups and Marxist Mexicans and Latinos, as well as old adherents of communism and socialism. People are thus lining up against old European colonialism as well as so-called racism. It is creating a new kind of racism and bigotry against whites, conservative heterosexuals and traditional old school or moral majority types of Americans. This is just as bad as white supremacists (along with Italian and Spanish fascists and Japanese royalty nationalists) creating a holocaust against Jews, radical religionists against other kinds of believers, or any kind of genocide involving similarly raced groups. Anti-Racism and Non-Racism Does not require Marxist revolt fixes in the United States; Watch for DEI We don't need forced artificial inducements to stamp out racism here in the United States. Americans don't need to be taught a lesson or trained about the excesses of discrimination. They don't need to have American public monuments destroyed or all kinds of American things renamed to alleviate people's perceptions of historical racism. Once people get to know one another, worries about race often drop off. When people work together for a common goal, they learn there are other merits of worth in fellow humans than just the outer package. That is, when they apply themselves to personal safety and survival or a mutually chosen goal that benefits them all, or once they get to know each other's stories and families, worries about outer form usually dissipate. Military men have found some of their best and truest buddies come from another race. People in homeless shelters filled with every which kind of people share stories, create supportive bonds and learn from each other. People often learn that in a crisis the only way out is to work together despite differences. Workers in a factory commiserate with each other across racial lines over the grind of the long hours, harsh and repetitive conditions and overall soul-less work. It is through thick and thin and trial and error people learn to trust one another. Often someone in the very group we have slated as negative in some way shows up in some way to help us. That is, during an emergency a type of person we thought came from a group we don't like winds up being the person who saves our life or does some helpful thing or another. Or when we reached out to "our types" only to find they would or could not put out, and we then asked "one of them" for help and found we received friendly and effective results, things shift in our perspective. We then have to eat our words, or at least admit some of the people of "that other type" are not so bad, at least not all the time. The Universality of Sincerity The universality of sincerity indicates that when we connect from our most basic natures, the differences of our outer forms melt away and we can have a meeting of minds through non-contrived honesty. We humans recognize sincerity in other people and its universal aspect, but we don't have to try to make everyone the same. Sincerity is something children have and can learn to lose with time, adults learn to put on faces and to connect allegiance and pride with certain groups. Marxism tries to break up that allegiance and pride to one system and transfer it to theirs. Tyrants fill the void. It does not work. People who are obsessive in revolts and takeovers are obsessive in government and create similar people around them who also revolt against them in turn; it creates a cycle of overthrown governments and repeated henchmen. We need systems that fight tyranny, not create it. This does not mean the group itself has been operating in our favor - the bulk of the group might in fact fit a negative stereotype because of culture and upbringing, but actual individuals can and often do step out of their own culture's mainstream woodwork to become heroes of their own accord. So that type of person you just complained about might be the very one who does something amazing for you out of the blue, and that person might be from another race, ethnic group, religion, ideology or sexual orientation. Let us work together as Americans despite our differences, applying the best of the American system, but do so in a natural and unforced manner by using adult behaviors and common sense. When we work together with a mutual sense of fair play, things happen. That is, by applying the basic American pattern to our unique differences, we can have peace. Using an American-style and western democracy structure with American law and order, we can maintain individual differences while also working for the common good. On the other hand...Where Being Nice Won't Work, Facing Reality Marxism as it is currently applied tends to wipe out differences in both cultures and individuals while pretending to uphold diversity. In addition, it along with excessive civil rights stances are creating cults, cartels and various forms of negative organized networks. Much of the Marxist revolt/takeover operations are actually being promoted by China. America's youth is being manipulated by a country that wants to rule the world. That is, anti-American foreign countries are promoting cliques and turfed areas to battleground spaces inside the United States. So the whole business of acknowledging we are all human and basically the same is great, but we also have to take into consideration the turfing problem. That is, how people are in fact taking over every single space and system in the United States in the name of countering racism and open borders. In the process, they are promoting certain groups over others, often at the expense of average Americans. Minority Racism and Anti-Americanism in Local Police Departments and U.S. national security agencies For example, Hispanics can take over a police department or federal agency with the deliberate intent of promoting a Hispanic and Latino-first approach, while excluding tradition pro-United States white Americans. Blacks with black nationalist and radical Islamic tendencies could be taking over key government entities in Washington, DC and beyond. That is, they could be running operations against white Americans and the legitimately operating United States. Both could both be given support by Russia and China. China and Russia are linked, so consider Russia too in discussions on China below. The China Problem In addition, the DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) programs you see forced on Americans in corporations have a Chinese connection. American minorities are being spoon-fed and ego-fed an ideology promoted by a dangerous country that wants to take over the United States, and many minorities have lapped it up. It is like lacing poison in candy given to ignorant children. Many of the minorities do not realize they are being used and manipulated by China to become puppets for a self-serving regime that wants to take over the planet. China knows how to press American buttons. That is, there comes a time you have to call a spaid a spaid and admit certain groups are doing bad things, and they might be mostly Hispanic, white or olive-skinned Muslims, black, Muslims, Marxist Latinos, Catholics, and antifa types. Added to this destructive picture are white or multiracial male-first, porn-centered motorcycle gangs, combat veterans and others. That is, we find porn-adhering male networks across the land. In addition, radicalized "green" environmental types enter the fray, often in conjunction with the blue immigrant supporting types. Sometimes out of brevity we list the race of that group as linked to their overall destructive behavior, but it is the culture linked to the race, not the race itself. That is, it's what people learn inside their skins, it's how the culture creates an approach inside the skin. So this is when you want to start breaking up racially driven anti-American police departments, corporations, mayors, governors and attorney generals offices and such. One of the signs of an anti-American takeover operation is the speech patterns and types of words they use. What is more, China might try to work things on both sides of a political party. You can start finding oppositional but similarly canned lingo in both the two largest American political parties. Even if on the surface it sounds like one is liberal and one is conservative, the same kinds of entities might be behind both, with the overall objective to get Americans used to banal thoughts, conformity and authority. Extraordinary Attacks Possible but not disclosed or presented adequately to the public The enthusiasm for the push-back against white Americans and the legitimately operating United States could be being artificially induced by China. That is, it could be that psychotronics, psychic attacks, secretive drugging, psyops programs and other technology are forms of attacks by anti-American countries. Mainstream Americans are not being given information in a clear way to help them isolate fact from science fiction and fantasy, even if the information is around to read somewhere. Although this won't be covered in the study group, we Americans need to be aware that the effectiveness of the anti-American takeovers could have a secretive high tech aspect. That is, people's emotions, thoughts and speech could be being manipulated by planned organizers. These attacks are by criminals who have learned how to push the right buttons in the human body and psyche. This might explain why our family members, friends and colleagues seem to go off the handle as did all the Democrat constituents for president in the last election. Bensman reminds us that all of those Democrats said the same things in the same cheesy phony way about wanting to help immigrants get in the door and stay; they seemed to be reading scripts perhaps put out by China and Marxist Hispanics and Latinos. In my opinion, the American system is the better one and we need to uphold the best that America has to offer through education, experience and insight. Keep the Nation State Finally, We don't have to shed the American nation state in order to respect diversity by letting lots of foreigners into the country. As Bensman suggests in his book, foreign trespassers who use civil rights arguments meant for American citizens should be suspect. Border protection and stopping illegal immigrant intrusions is important. We can retain the protection of the United States while maintaining the individuality of persons and racially different groups without becoming a global melting pot that allows open borders and unlimited commingling. We are being attacked across different fronts, sometimes by extraordinary means that go beyond our normal expectations until we are trained to look for certain things. Education helps fill in the blanks and raise the potential for American citizen and leader warning bell alerts to threats and subsequent effective responsiveness. Some Ideas on What We Can Do to Push Back Learn, read, grow. Educate yourselves. Share what you know, then apply it. Use smart public communication as signage. Example This example comes from my personal life. A slew of anti-American types can get inside your home. Maybe it starts with who someone in your family is dating; one or two, maybe to be expected, siblings are often different with different tastes, but what if everyone your family members hook up with winds up being that way? What if no one in your family stands up for the American way because the younger people are increasingly being drawn to immigrant, gay, liberal, ethnic power movement types? And they form a clique together? And your elderly parents are too old and enfeebled to identify the games and takeover operations of your extended American family, they are duped, manipulated, lied to? If a family is being attacked from within by the types of people one's siblings, children or others are dating, one way to push back is to step in and help break up the games. What seems to be happening inside the home is what you see happening out in the public sphere. Antifa or a gay/black/brown nationalist or ethnic power type wants to: 1) discredit the pro-American family member, doing this by making up stories, exaggerating stories, taking information out of context and making things seem worse 2) distract and control the argument through drama and finger-pointing, shake the pro-American person off center 3) convince the remaining normal American family members (in this case, the elderly parents) the pro-American sibling is flaky, dishonest, mentally ill and unstable 4) acting like there is something so terribly wrong with that person that no one wants him or her 5) coordinating activities with the other family members and non-family sexual partners to ostracize the outcast pro-American - to carefully plan and organize family events to specifically include all of them and their own friends and extended family but not this one Republican pro-American type. Does this sound far out? It's not. It happened. It's hard to pinpoint just exactly who is mostly behind it, but I suspect it's the Peruvian immigrant dating a youngest sister, a Cuban almost second generation type (she came in when she was little) who dated a lesbian sister who is now deceased, and a Hawaiian ethnic power movement type who gets a Native American friend of the daughter's to go along with it. There is also a link to far right religious fundamentalism among the white mother of the part Hawaiian and the Native American female. Religious fundamentalism can weave in and out of Marxist revolt behavior, I have discovered. Sometimes it is a HIspanic or Latino Catholic thing. I want you to compare this example of a household shift/takeover to how Americans are being bullied in the public sphere. Let's say a Christian says something that offends a black, gay or transgender person. The next you read in the news is that antifa and black/brown/LGBTQ power movement types have moved in on that person, doing everything in their power to get that person fired, humiliated in public, sued and more. Well, this same thing is happening in this example inside the American family home. This particularly family did not have a previous history with far left or minority causes. There were likely liberal aspects, but not far left ones. How in the world could people you know shift so rapidly under the influence of a Peruvian, Cuban, and part Hawaiian? Well, I think part of the answer is college influences like the University of Hawaii, living in Hawaii, marrying a Hawaiian, the Peruvian bringing in immigrant mentalities such as you see expressed in the book Overrun by Bensman, things like if you stand up for border protection and stopping illegal immigration as an American, you are deemed cruel and racist by these immigrants. I think some of that is coming at my sister to my parents and into our family from that Peruvian. He apparently renewed some kind of visa for seven years or so and got his U.S. citizenship shortly after dating my youngest sister. You don't think that is kind of a coincidence? And here's the other thing: my sister refuses to ever have me meet him or have me be at family functions where she wants to bring him to everything, the excuse being I am a racist. Don't you think she is likely being influenced by this immigrant and his immigrant mentalities? Don't you think it is spooky that the sibling who repeatedly has asked if anyone has checked this guy out and done a criminal background check on him now finds herself completely and thoroughly ostracized by this sibling and the entire family and set of extended lovers. Wow. Is this sci fi? No, it happened and is getting worse and worse. They are after inheritance, family funds and things, power....that is really and truly is what is going on. We are dealing with mafia types who are very slick, that is what I think is going on. They are manipulating older parents into thinking the pro-American type is so flaky, untrustworthy and unneeded so as to give themselves more and more power, it's similar to taking over a business or government department. They are slick, folks, they have a gig going that they use across the board, and so we have to push back when we start seeing the red flags. I think one way to push back on something like a family takeover operation is to bring eyes and ears in, they need to feel visible. They seem to thrive in invisibility. They use isolated families with few people looking in who can really see what is going on. I feel also dirty cops and feds, dirty operations in the medical world (as in treating the elderly through urgent cares, emergency rooms and hospices, etc) and pharmacies, of all things, could also be part of the criminal networks. It can also include corrupt Navy and other military people, and it can include corrupt Hispanics and Latinos in either major political party, both Republicans and Democrats. There is a corrupt network around the infected family also contributing to the problems in addition to the newcomer immigrants, gays and brown/black ethnic power movement types. One red flag in this example is everyone your family members are dating are immigrants or members of indigenous political power orientations. The other red flag is new lingo showing up in your family. That is, your family members start sounding like Marxists with anti-racism, anti-Republican, anti-Trump speech and they gang up as buddies among themselves against you, when your family members never used to think and act like that. Another red flag is they start doing things like one big orchestrated social club to show an "us" t versus "them" approach, they insist on a unified front which also includes the canned lingo. There is this notion of popular versus non- popular, with the outcast member being someone they proudly state no one wants or likes. Another red flag is they won't talk to you, they won't dialogue, it's not a two-way street, they cut you off, block your texts and emails, won't respond to your calls, they refuse to sit near you or have you around them, they try to get your family members to stop seeing you or letting you in their home. It sounds so strange unless you personally experience this. Bensman brings out an example of all the Democrat Party presidential candidates saying the same things about open borders using canned lingo. The author talks about the new iconic language among these adherents. Well, your own family members can start acting like that unified Democrat Party front seen in the primary debates. How can this happen to fairly normal Americans or Democrats who used to actually support normal border protecton? Well, in my opinion, we should actually consider "extraordinary" or strangely abnormal attacks. These are hard to pinpoint and see, I suspect. This would be like Chinese and Russian mind-influencing technology in the hands of black and brown nationalists and antifa. That is, watch for certain signs that people's minds and speech are being influenced unnaturally by something more than just normal influences between people. That something additional is coaxing this odd, fanatical and one-sided behavior. Smart Signage Your bumper stickers, banners and signs can alert foreign trespassers, hostile countries and political radicals and corporations you are one of a growing body of Americans who does in fact know exactly what they are doing and what is going on. You can put together a group of like-minded citizens and write individual, unique, but common- voiced letters in large numbers to local businesses letting them know you do NOT want illegal or marginally legal foreign trespassers getting jobs at the expense of Americans. Don't allow radicalism to enter your religious or political approaches. Watch for these groups manipulating Republicans to give the contracts and jobs to the same types of people they are fighting against. Don't buy into the ruise that sending illegal immigrants from "red" states to "blue" sanctuary cities and states is OK and will teach Democrats a lesson. This is just another way for immigrants to get a free ride and also reflects poorly on Republicans doing that. Instead, push for expulsion from country. Read up on antifa and black/brown nationalists and understand thoroughly the levels of radicalism, violence and control they will go to and have a group plan on how to push back. Todd Bensman in the book Overrun covers this well in Chapter 4 "The New Theologians". These groups truly are very dangerous, fanatical and will stop at nothing to try to control your minds, speech, actions, political persuasions and the outward signs of American history. You might have some immunity to their obsessive drive for control, but your family members and other associates might not, so they can get at them even if you stand relatively firm against them. They can create a wall around you by impacting the people around you, in other words. This is why it is vital you have a well-educated and awake support group to turn to when your family is being attacked. I can assure you family members will be victimized and die if things go too far. Please consider the local police and feds could be infiltrated with like-minded sympathizers so if you reach out for help there, you could make the situation for your family worse. This is why we need to build networks among ourselves that reach into our local police and feds to counter the other kinds of people trying to take over these departments and agencies. The point is to get other Americans up to speed and on the same page through education and awareness raising. Oregon Republicans are the main ones carrying the U.S. torch in Oregon There have been some amazing Republicans and perhaps a few others in the state of Oregon who have been holding up the U.S. flag here against great odds as immigrants, their sympathizers and leftists have increasingly taken over the state. Unlike the state of New Mexico where I am originally from, which in my opinion is gone, Oregon has hope because there has been a faction here staying put and pushing back against the takeovers. To be more fully effective in taking back the state, we have to organize better, work together despite differences in religious views and take our education about what and who is attacking our country from within to a whole new level. So much of what we are dealing with is information warfare, psyops and sneaking. However, Republicans across the nation have some far right religious fundamentalists of all races. We need to watch for Hispanic and Latino Catholic cross-overs and operatives and hard-liner religionists who are more interested in Christian nationalism or being in control of fellow Americans more than border protection. Drug Problems in Oregon - Pot has a long history here, Pot often first step to stronger drugs We are also dealing with too many Americans with addiction problems and who make a primary or sideline income from illegal drugs. In addition, too many so-called legal marijuana businesses are linked to or promote dirty operations. Many people in Oregon are linked to marijuana in one way or another and there is a long history here that goes back many years with marijuana. People are trying to use marijuana sales taxes to help out with more substantial addictions; there are some of us who believe marijuana itself is a serious problem. I personally think it creates mood swings and a tendency for agitation when off, a too blissed out state when on it, and I don't care for the odor. I agree with the strictest states in the country that marijuana should be used for medicinal purposes only. I realize this me at odds with many receiving this letter, but if I had my druthers, I would spend more money and time on educating Americans the reasons why to stay off recreational marijuana. I would not want to keep it from people who use it medicinally for PTSD or illness and injury-linked pain. I personally have a bias against marijuana, in other words. Trumpier than Trump Without Voting for Him Beyond this, I have asked fellow Republicans to consider not voting for Trump because we need a new face and a grounded, educated and experienced professional. I am not antagonistic toward Trump, having gotten off the Trump-bashing train a long time ago once I realized how he was being targeted by the media and others. I do think we saw a "Trump Effect" as discussed by Todd Bensman in his book Overrun, as he had an unusual impact on stopping immigration and shoring up our borders, but I think another Republican or staunch pro-American type can do the same thing, change some things, and do it overall in a more professional manner. I have never voted for Trump. However, I have been known to say I am Trumpier than Trump. Cooperate with Texas from Oregon, but immigrants must be expelled, not transferred to states I have also asked Republicans to work more with Texas in its border protection approaches, but to insist the state not send immigrants to Oregon's sanctuary areas, as this undermines fellow Republicans here and spreads the immigration problem. In my opinion, those immigrants need to be expelled from the country immediately, although Bensman tells us how this can be difficult without federal backing and when Mexico refuses and other countries refuse those immigrants. I also feel that San Diego County in southern California should be on our list to tackle first. It is a key border and military area that needs to be taken back and secured. Regardless of which state we live in, this should be a priority. I see widespread problems there which include Hispanic and Latino takeovers of CBP, ICE and the local police departments, the major medical centers like those run by Sharp or Sharp Grossmont, the pharmacies, the educational department and more. Additional Notes , I am fairly moderate and yet conservative, yet also believe in equal rights for women, am not a die-hard anti- abortionist but don't support late-term abortion, don't like far right religious fundamentalism when it steps on women's rights and makes people nutty and fixated. Not everyone waving flags is a Republican Trump supporter or a Christian fundamentalist, for one thing. Not all of them served in the military or police, or carry guns. Not all of them are Anglo-Saxon whites or of the older generation. I think many Republican Christians are doing some significant things right and I would not want to stop that. I think the connection to family makes for a more stable and grounded country. I think many flag-waving Republican Christians are including making a genuine connection with real spirituality, yet others have gone too far to the radical position and actually block true spirituality, and often become abusive, money-oriented, selfish, mean and cynical. I think it is a mistake to lump all Republicans together as extremists, as a lot of them are doing some things right. People don't give them enough credit for how they stabilize an American area and keep out the crime zones. Many don't realize that Trump supporters have been far more victimized and even bloodied than hits the wide media. You can read more on this in Bensman's Chapter 4 (Todd Bensman, book Overrun). I became a Republican because of the party's stance on border protection and also because I sense a true spirituality among a number of them. In addition, I decided I prefer the heterosexual, monogamous and family oriented approach which lends itself to stabilizing American cities. However, I would like to see more help for American singles and hapless tragglers who could not live up to the family ideal without the use of religious extremism. This includes the alone and lonely on the streets of America. You know, the ones walking around with backpacks and grocery carts full of personal belongings, people who are so lonely they are seen often talking to themselves. We send people to the moon and stars, but still have the problem with the homeless and poor. Too many people are worried about enabling drug addicts and helping those who take advantage of others. Too many Americans figure if they have to work, then others should just get a job. There is anger and resentment over who works and who does not. However, just think about all the millions of foreign trespassers who got in while Americans belittle and resent fellow unemployed Americans. Before we take on the world's tricksters, the people who lie and cheat to get inside our country for better paying jobs and for American welfare, let's give our own stragglers some breathing room, stop being so judgmental, and figure out real solutions that work. Anger, emotional upheavals and strict discipline don't work for many on the streets, that is one reason many are there. What might work: Easy does it, barebones basic housing for AMERICANS, not foreign trespassers, and easy entry level jobs brought back from other countries to the United States, flex time that stretches part time and work types across varied spaces and times, choice of spiritual and friendship circles. I think one way to bring back stragglers into the fold is to offer small bare bones housing that is meticulously handled for drugs, crime and violence and to offer very easy "no brainer" jobs using part-time, flex-time, and move- around positions, the latter of which moves people from one department to another after three to four hours of work so things don't get mundane. To bring stragglers back to the work force, Americans need to make it easier for AMERICAN people to get jobs and to take back the repetitive work that China, India, Mexico and other third world countries have taken away from Americans, including factory assembly and call center work. Even emotionally and mentally challenged Americans can do work like that and should be given every opportunity to do so. We can turn old barns, warehouses and empty offices into spaces for American stragglers to work and it can be close to the bare bones shelter spaces. Oregon has a growing tendency for business coops, there is a lot of promise with this sort of thing, but we need to expand our creative thinking to America's stragglers who cannot pull themselves together enough to make those innovative leaps. It is important to focus on aesthetics across all sectors of American society as this promotes the economy and a sense of well-being. How things look where you live is actually very important, it's not a luxury and should not mean high cost of living.
