Upon reflection, this case might not be as cut and dried as one might think at first glance. Distractions could be possible from apparent circumstantial evidence and psychological impacts from that, along with seeing Mark Redwine’s funky post-Dylan death photos (red bulging eyes, unkempt appearance, etc - witnesses remarked on “disheveled appearance”). Maybe he was hiking, took a slide down a steep area, fell at or near the place where his body was found, and maybe the sliding caused boulders to hit his head, causing the skull trauma reported by forensics. Maybe he was already dead when an animal broke his head away to get at the brain and eat parts of the flesh. Some articles mention he did not bring his cell phone or wallet (expected things if he was planning to leave the house for any time period) were not found with his body, like a cell phone and wallet, although ear buds and parts of his clothing were found.
