Officers ask if Olonia if he’s threatening them, because Olonia previously suggested he was a part of the Mexican mafia. Another argument ensues, and Olonia tells Warman he will see him “personally.” At one point, Olonia also threatened the officer’s children, according to KOAT. Warman then rushes Olonia while other officers attempt to separate the two men. Olonia is then forced to the ground in the ensuing struggle. Olonia was arrested and taken to a hospital for examination. He was charged with assault, assault on a peace officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. No injuries were reported, and all charges against him were later dropped. Olonia has a long history of violence, including several counts of battery on law enforcement, according to the report Olonia reportedly plans on filing a civil complaint. Harris has been appointed special prosecutor in the case against Dusty Wilson, 26, who is charged in Lea County with six first- degree felony counts of criminal sexual penetration of a minor.Wilson's stepdaughter was 3 years old and his stepson was 5 years old at the time of the alleged abuse, Harris said.If convicted, Wilson could face up to 144 years in state prison because each charge carries a maximum penalty of 24 years' imprisonment under New Mexico law, Harris said. http //amarillo com/stories/082200/new_hobbs shtml#.WhwnV0qnGxk Wilson, Oliver (11/7/2013) Santa Fe, New Mexico State Police Officer. Excerpt from NM In Depth-2016/03/23-by Jeff Proctor: There’s no question that Jeanette broke several laws that night. Yet her family says the system fell down. Wilson “needed to be held accountable for what he did,” says Teresa. Asked about Teresa’s criticism of the process used to clear Wilson, Pacheco pauses for several moments. “I can understand her feeling that [the grand jury presentation] wasn’t a fair representation of what occurred,” she says. “There is not an efficient or good process in the state of New Mexico to deal with police shootings.” Excerpt from Santa Fe New Mexican 2014/04/08-by Phaedra Haywood: Anaya’s family has filed a tort claim notice, advising the state that she is prepared to file a civil suit over her daughter’s death. Her attorney said the family might also pursue a lawsuit in federal court, alleging violations of Jeanette Anaya’s civil rights. But right now, they want “justice.” For Teresa Anaya, justice means criminal charges for Officer Wilson for fatally shooting her daughter and changes to a system that allows the New Mexico State Police, rather than an outside agency, to investigate its own officer-involved shootings. She said justice also means more and better officer training on the use of force and more rigorous screening for police officers. “Police officers should be subject to the same laws as the rest of us,” she said, “whether they hold a gun and a badge or not.” 2013/11/07--https //usgunviolence wordpress com/2013/11/07/killed-jeanette-anaya-santa-fe-nm KOAT 2014/04/30 Friend [Jeremy Munoz] of Jeanette Anaya a cop murdered her: Jury Finds Shooting justified. Jeanette didn't stop. Instead, she led Wilson on a chase across surface streets and through residential Santa Fe. The pursuit ended when Jeanette slowed down, and Wilson used his police car to spin her silver Honda Accord around. Then, Wilson got out and fired 16 shots at Jeanette's car. One of the bullets went through the side of Jeanette's head; another struck the top of her back. Wilson's story about the shooting didn't completely square with a video captured on the dashboard camera of his patrol car, or with the version of events described by the passenger in Jeanette's car. https //www sfreporter com/news/coverstories/2016/03/22/puff-of-smoke/ Other Links 2016/03/23--http //nmindepth com/2016/03/23/puff-of-smoke-justice-system-designed-to-clear-cop-who- killed-jeanette-anaya/ Wiseman, Gary (New) Rio Rancho Rio Rancho PD Deputy Police Chief 2017-Filed a Whistleblower Lawsuit against Interim Chief Woolever Robert, Albuquerque, APD/Excessive Force/Fired with another officer over a beating of Nicholas Blume.
